CE1 voices in the park
The CE1s have now written and published their own versions of 'Voices in the Park'. Each child is in turn taking the book home to show to their family. Well done CE1s!

Learning how to follow instructions is fun when making these delicious chocolate coconut balls! The CE2s had a mouth-watering afternoon!
CP fruit and vegetable posters
The CPs begun their first steps in understanding non-fiction. In pairs, they discussed, touched, drew and labelled different fruit and vegetables.
CM1 penfriends
Letters written by the CM1s have just arrived in Australia! The children wrote letters to introduce themselves to Anne Hostein's class in her school in Melbourne (Anne was an APESA teacher a few years ago). We are now eagerly awaiting their replies.
CM2 become authors of children's books
The CM2s have been busy working together in groups writing and illustrating a story book for young children based on their class text 'The Breadwinner' by Deborah Ellis. Last Thursday, Ms Nicolay's class presented their books to the CE1s. It will be shortly be the turn of Mrs Mortimer's class to read their stories to the CPs.
