Pastoral Welfare and Student Support

This service is open to all Anglophone Section students, to support and facilitate their learning.

Mrs March is available by appointment to discuss problems and difficulties that may arise for students in College or Lycee. As a trained counsellor, she is able to work through issues with pupils or families, to liaise with colleagues as necessary on the French side of the CSI, or simply to give advice or a sympathetic ear. Students should feel confident of being able to talk things over in confidence and in private.

We as teachers are very aware that our young people don’t always have a happy time at school and, whilst we sincerely hope that each child will feel safe, valued and focused on their studies throughout their time at the CSI, experience has taught us that some students each year could benefit from a more direct pastoral care input.

The aim of this student welfare programme is always to help our students to make the best use of their time at school and to achieve as much as they possibly can.

Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs March at any time if you need to.
